LICENSING OVERVIEW

TraceAdaptive Group — Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

TraceAdaptive Group develops proprietary leadership frameworks, decision systems, planning tools, training materials, and digital products—including OPTICS™, FRA⁴ME™, BRA⁴CE™, TRA⁴CE™, A⁴™, A⁴CE™, TraceIntel Dispatch™, and all associated diagrams, visual systems, written content, and templates.

When you purchase a TraceAdaptive product, you are purchasing a limited license to use the material—not ownership of the intellectual property.

To protect the integrity and value of these systems, TraceAdaptive provides licensing paths based on how you intend to use the material.

1. Standard Individual License (Included with Purchase)

This license is included by default with all standard product purchases (including the OPTICS™ Field Guide).

You MAY:

  • Use the material for your personal professional development

  • Apply the frameworks in your own leadership and decision-making

  • Print one copy for personal reference

  • Use the concepts and language in meetings and planning as long as you do not distribute the materials

You may NOT:

  • Share, forward, distribute, or reproduce the PDF or its contents for others

  • Upload the material to shared drives or team platforms (Google Drive, Dropbox, Notion, Teams, Slack, LMS, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Print copies for teammates, clients, or participants

  • Use the content to run organizational training, workshops, or coaching sessions

  • Repackage, modify, or represent TraceAdaptive systems as your own

  • Use the systems commercially as a coach/consultant/educator without a Professional Use License

  • Upload the material into public AI tools or datasets for analysis, training, or redistribution

Summary:
Individual license = you can use it, you can apply it, you can lead with it — but you cannot share or distribute the materials.

2. Organizational / Internal Use License (Multi-User)

For teams, companies, agencies, schools, nonprofits, and government entities that want to share the materials internally, an Organizational License is required.

Organizational licensing may authorize:

  • multi-user access within one organization

  • internal distribution to employees or members

  • uploading to internal platforms (LMS, SharePoint, Google Drive, Notion, Teams, etc.)

  • internal training, briefings, workshops, and leadership development sessions

  • printing and distributing approved materials internally

Licenses are scoped by:

  • seat count / user count

  • department vs. organization-wide use

  • duration (annual or perpetual options)

  • whether customization, co-branding, or implementation support is included

3. Professional Use License (Coaches, Consultants, Educators)

If you teach, facilitate, coach, consult, or run paid programs and want to integrate TraceAdaptive frameworks into your services, you must obtain a Professional Use License.

This license may authorize:

  • teaching or facilitating OPTICS™ frameworks in paid programs

  • using TraceAdaptive frameworks in workshops, coaching sessions, or courses

  • distributing approved facilitator materials or approved excerpts with attribution

  • access to optional facilitator assets (slides, prompts, briefing formats)

This license does NOT authorize:

  • rebranding TraceAdaptive systems

  • selling the guide or materials as standalone products

  • distributing the full guide or templates as part of your program unless explicitly permitted in writing

4. Custom Adaptation / Integration License

If your organization wants to integrate OPTICS™ into internal SOPs, onboarding, academies, playbooks, or leadership programs, a Custom Adaptation License may be required.

This may include:

  • tailored diagrams, cards, or internal versions

  • co-branded materials

  • train-the-trainer packages

  • implementation support and consulting

Enterprise / Integration License
Org-wide integration, customization, train-the-trainer, playbooks, support

Unauthorized distribution, reproduction, or commercial use violates TraceAdaptive intellectual property rights and may result in revocation of access and/or legal enforcement.
